SNEP Nuts – stock still available
Unfortunately, the SNEP branded locking nut developed in 1954 will become discontinued once current stocks are sold. The decision for SNEP to focus business priorities elsewhere wasn’t one taken lightly, but one they felt needed to be taken in the current market.
Archerdale still holds stock, primarily on the DAH range, but also in the ESN H100, please contact our sales team for a discounted offer whilst still available, our experienced sales team will also be able to assist in available alternative brands.
SNEP nuts combine both extreme vibration resistance with re-usability so you can rely on it time and time again.

Principle mechanical function:
The SNEP Nuts self-locking function is obtained by an axial deformed slot
The metal above the slot is set to de-pitch the threads so that when the nut is tightened on to a bolt, the thread is gripped on the flank.
The SNEP brand is a registered trademark of Arconic.
